Is there any way to find out the customized reports scattered in different modules? before upgrade.

Hi Lukman You seem to be littlie bit confused. Nevermind, that's a DBA issue. To restore backup your database should be in atleast MOUNT state. SQL> STARTUP MOUNT; O.K if it's not in NOMOUNT state. Now to get it in mount state, 1st I wud find PFILE or INIT.ora file if it's not there. Try to find it ...

Hi If you have changed your INIT file and bounced your DB it's suppose to be working. anyway try this one...if doesn't work send the output again. Hti Tahir It often happend with date/time type data. what you need to do is add a temporary column to the table with type CHAR and insert all your data of BILL_MONTH overthere.
