yes, you can install on XP and it will work fine as I have done in the time past I have not tried R12 on XP but 11.5.10 will work fine.

Other members who have experience in set up and configuration and training configuration and end users should help to write this document...

How do you set them up? It is one thing to know what to do and it is another thing to know how to do it. Training manual prepared by someone who has done some implementation is the best solution as he will able to share experience and problems.
