Liability a/c can be selected in Bank A/c?

Hi Gurus,

Here I have some requirement to select Liability a/c for one dummy bank. May any body tell me what will be effect in trial balance or any other effect if a liability a/c will be selected in Bank cash account.

Dear Satya,

Hope your question relates to R12.

You can set-up Bank Account with Liability Control Account if your requirment is so.But you should not select Third Party Control account qualifier to that particular Liability Control Account till R12.1.2.

If you are in R12.1.3 it is different.
