Help needed to understanding SQL loader & FND load

Post by anuragagarwal1980 »

I have around 15000 assets with mutliple source lines to be loaded in FA module.

I tried using ADI but the limitation was that it could not load assets with multiple source lines.[:I]

I understand that using SQL LOader or FND load, this is possible.

But i do not have any idea on the above 2 whatsoever[V]. Need your help in making me understand the same.

Any doc would be highly usefull.[:)]

You can use the sql loader. You can search for sql loader on net, a lot of information is available.

You can use the control file with it.

Hi Anurag,
My understanding is that FNDLOAD is only to upload data into FND tables, so I guess you can't use this utility for FA module.
You can indeed use SQL*LOADER. Here is a link to kick start http://www.wisc.edu/drmt/sqlldr-pc.html

Good Luck

Cheers
