Hi Thiyagu,
<font color="red"><b>1.Shortage Alerts:</b></font id="red">
If the available quantity is not sufficient while creating WIP Jobs ,WIP Schedules,Sales Orders then system generates shortage alerts based on your setups while doing Receipts , Receiving Transactions , Miscellaneous Transactions etc
<font color="red"><b>2. Interface</b></font id="red">
Interface is a source in Oracle Apps which allows us to construct a bridge between Oracle Apps and Be Spoke Systems or any other non oracle systems.
Let us say you have a Be Spoke system which captures all the information of items and transactions.
Then you can construct a bridge between your Be Spoke system and Oracle Apps (by using item interface and transactions interface) and transfer all the information to Oracle Apps.
<font color="red"><b>3. Inventory Positions</b></font id="red">
Inventory Position is nothing but inventory quantity information, such as the quantity on-hand, the quantity received in a particular time period, and the quantity issued in the same time period for a particular item across multiple levels of a specified organization hierarchy.
