Hai,

Control Accounts are GL accounts accessed from payables,Receivables, and Inventory. The control account segment qualifier lets you indicate which account segment values represents control accounts.

Hi

Control Account is a Segment Qualifier and it is used for reconcillation purpose.

The control Account in Payables is "Liability"
The Control Account in Receivables is "Revenue" and "Receivables"

hi
when you enter a new account in the value field..it asks you for
1-allow budgeting..
2-allow posting...and then there is
3-control account
4-reconcilation flag
what is the usage and purpose of both(3 and 4) these
