FSG BUDGET CONTROL VALUE

Hi friends
i have made the FSG report which is budget vs actual,in defining the budget the system is asking for the control value,
can any body descibe to me how the control value is being entered and what is the use of it

Hey

Define control value in the Balance control region of the column form.
Also
Go to "column set builder form" and click on the button "More Column Options" and define the control value there.

yes i have placed the contol value in the form but still buget is not opearing in the report, i think the value given in the form has to be given some where else as well

Control value is normally used if u r using more than one budgets, in that case u assign control value to ur budgets, If u have assigned control value to ur budget then it should work.

Also check whether have u posted budget journals or not; or r u taking correct period, accounts and all these informations.
