Hi,

Can anyone explain me wat is combined accounting in General ledger?

And also explain me wat is the difference between a Legal entity and a operating Unit?

your first question is confusing,i think you have explain it in a bit detail
LEGAL ENTITY:legal entity is backed by the govt laws means that if it is a company it has to registered with the company ordinance from there it has got it own rights and liability.in short legal entities can be considered to be the tax paying entity....
where as the operating units are the positions from where the it is performing its operations...like offices in lahore....in karachi....of ABC company are the operating units

Hi khan,

thankx for ur reply for the second question. For the first question i got this question from an interviewer. He asked me the same question. So why i too got confused and i couldn able to explain him.
