Defining Lookup codes

Post by bcooper »

If I define a new lookup code, does it have to be in exactly the same format as the seeded codes? For example, I defined a new Incompatibility Group in Advanced Pricing. The seeded values are LVL 1, LVL 2, and LVL 3. I added a Level 4 and used the coded LVL4 (no space). The problem is that this new Level does not work correctly. Is it possible that the problem is the format?

Hi,

For the look up type INCOMPATIBILITY_GROUPS, the access level is extensible.

I dont think format has to do any thing with the new code you add.

Thanks. I got it work just by making the format consistant with the seeded codes. Not sure if that was the problem or maybe there was some kind of data issue. But it works now.

Thanks for your help!
