Validating Item Templates

I recently faced a question : How do you validate the Item Template after creating it ?

After creation when you apply the templates then check the settings made by templates. What kind of validation you are expecting. thanks

Hi Sajeed,

When you create a Template there is no standard way where you can validate your template.

Then the question is what happens if you create a template with contradictory item attributes?

The answer is Inventory validates all the user defined item templates when you apply for the items.

If you create an item template with Contradictory Item attributes and apply to an item then before saving the item ,Inventory populates a warning .

Hope this clarifies your doubt.
