add more than one liability account

add more than one liability account

HI,

I have a query is that in supplier accounting tab, i, assign liability account, at the time of raising invoice can we change this liability account.

OR

Can we add more than one liability account in the supplier accouting tab

you cannot have two liability account in to one supplier distribution tab but write it in detail may possible there is a work arround of it

Hi Eswar,

Generally we can change the Liability A/C at supplier site level. Means u can give different Liability other than the Liability A/C which was given in Financial Options. When u raise an invoice the Accounting entry pickup the Liability A/C which was given at supplier site level if it is different than the Liability A/C in Financial Options.

Hi Eswar,

You can create two sites for one supplier & give two different liability a/c for different site. Example, for site A give Liability a/c 1 & for site B give Liability a/c 2. You can select required site at the time of invoice entry.

Eswar,

If you are pointing towards a scenario where you have got two distribution lines and need two liability account, you try AUTOMATIC OFFSETS. As this feature is specially meant for this kind of scenario.
