Modify Assets Location Flexfield

I was told that to add an asset location I can do the
following:from Setup| Financials | Flexfields | Values I enter
the values of the location flexfield segments for example cities and buildings. Then I enter all possible combinations from Setup | Asset System | Location. My problem is that when the user enter a new asset when he comes to the location flexfield he can choose the city x but the he finds in the list of values all the bulidings that are in city x and other cities as well.

I found out that the location flexfield segments value sets are all created as independent.

how can i fix this? considering that the flexfield is already used in the system. I need buildings value set lov in the location
flexfields to give only those in the city x value set selected previously.

Dear AIMAM,

u can create a diff value set which is dependent on city valu set....but u have to change all asset assignment separetly.........
