error failed to resolve incompatibility pricelist

When trying to cancel a line i am getting the error 'failed to resolve incompatibility between pricelists'

Kindly make subject meaningful.It will help other to search solution.

This is a precedence problem of items on price list. If the item exists on the provided price list then pricing engine will use that price. However, if no price list is provided and search flag for the phase is YES then pricing engine will search across multiple price lists and if the item is found on multiple price list then pricing engine has NO CLUE which price to use and hence pricing engine gives the error message.

So first check the price list then item and also have a look at applied modifier
