Daily Activies of Apps DBA versus Core DBA

Hi,

Can anyone please explain me the difference between the "Daily Activities" of Core (9i, 10g, 11g) DBA versus Apps (11i, R12) DBA

Hi,

Core DBA activities includes:-

Installation and administration of Oracle Core products plus backup/recovery and performance turning, database patches etc.

APPS DBA activities:-

Installation/configuration of Apps, managebility and admin of apps tier components along with patching plus discoverer admin etc etc.

Apps DBA activities will add the applications tier related stuff in his/her job role rest activies will be the same like Core DBA.
