PO requistion-Needby date

Hi sir

while creating the purchase requisition for a particular item the need by date is not mandatory the field is grade-out mode.(that item is in that supplier catalog)

for rest of the items the need by date is asking mandatory,,(items are not in that supplier catalog)

so while taking multiple lines in that purchase requisition except that item without defined need by date requisition is getting approved..

supplier information is not mandatory in requisition form..

SO why for that particular item need by date is not mandatory....????
