we want to transfer or ship the item from one subinventory to another subinventory those two subinventories should contain the relation other wise we need to create the sourcing rule and then only we can transfer the item.

u can do all MRP process like forecast, forecastset,rop,mmplan every thing you can do from inventory module.so go to inventory module and done the remaining process.

you try this part it may help u somewhat

before working with po ypu have to do buyer setup and employe set up.
and the item should be in ASL(approved supplier list).you taking item should be assigned to your supplier.and check the on-hand quantity

i am not sure is it correct or not but i am giving the info
first go to u r form and place a button in that form and write when_button_pressed trigger
in that trigger paste your code and compile it.
it will populate the parameters dynamically.when u press the button
