I Create a new request on Human Resource Self Service by using (SIT's).

when the manager do the request for his employees the system store manager_id in the selected_person_id not the employee_id in the hr_api_transactions

i define the employee_id as the first segment on the key ...

I read about oracle fast formula , about the database item .

there is static one , and you can use flex field segments by run the Create Key Flexfield DB Items request

but as the fast formula document said that there is some key flex field that you can use there segments

you cant ...

you can have r12.1.2 in solutionbeacon.com

the problem in not in this profile option .

because i have instance r12.1.1 which has no problem in people and main window, in this instance the profile option value = 2

in r12.1.2 i have the same profile option with the same value 2
and the problem still exits

I have been solved my problem.
I think when I read about the absence and absence type that you can just link the absence type with element that has information classification.
but when I try to define a deduction element and link it with the absence type , the system accept it.
so after ...

i read about the indirect element and indirect result .
but as i mention i want the deduction element to be entered and calculated automatically.
lets explain your solution.
