11i on CentOS 5
Has anyone tried installing 11i (rel 10 or 12) on CentOS 5? I've been successful installing both releases on CentOS 4.
Please let me know of any 'gotchas' before I start reformatting my drive and go CentOS 5.
Thanks

Column-specific VS Star (*) Query
Has anyone noticed that a star query (all columns) works but when a specific column (even just 1) is specified that the query actually hangs. I'm using TOAD. Example: SELECT * FROM CUST_HIST WHERE CUST_INQ_ID = '23454' -- this returns results in just a couple of seconds. SELECT CUST_REQ_FORM_ID FROM...

Linux Browser for Apps 11.5.12
What do I need to access Apps 11.5.12 from the same Linux machine I installed it in? Before, there used to be some tweaks to get around the jInitiator dependence. So how about with 11.512?

Hostname on Vision Installation
I'm setting up Oracle Apps 11.5.10 on RHEL 4. What hostname do I use to make the installation work? On the 'Administration Guide' screenshot, it is 'vision.erpstuff.com'. Should this be a valid/existing URL?

Downloading from Oracle edelivery
What are the legal implications of downloading from Oracle's edelivery site? Can I just download from the site and agree that I'm only using the software for trial purposes (30 days?) and then remove it completely from my system? Wouldn't Oracle be knocking down at my door and checking out on me or ...
