I think that there is no need to have two SOB, instead we can go for MRC option, this is also used for reporting purpose..

One benefit of this will be all the entries will be automatically transfered to MRC SOB.

Before defining Budget, please enable budget in segment.

I am also setting up budget

1- first define Budget Organisation
2- Define Budget and allocate Budget

and then you can check budget is working properly by passing JV.

i think yes we can change accounting flexfilds and SOB (account values) after transection in GL but the impact would be like you wont be able able to see past entries and so on.
