I want to know the steps through which i can reconcile AP with GL.
I want to reconcile jun-08 which was our go live date

Yesterday i have close a period and checked that out the in AP can i enter a invoice in that perticular date say 30-jun then in AP it has started given me error message when i give GL as 30 jun so i dont think it is possible or may be a BUG

yah it is one of the way when you have some know about about the issue but when it is not clear then pridiction of the out come could be bias...

1-New Entries Only
2-All Entries
3-Query and New Entry

user guides (oracle doc library )of various versions are available on various sites check it out on net

usually it is a one account as its nature is clearing but if you have the requirement to know the amount of clearence from each bank then seperate account is recomended hope that i have answer ur question
