can we transfer the asset frm one division to another division on back date.i.e during the month of oct-07 ,can we take the effect on 15th jul 07. Plz guide me with navigation.we have defined 365 days for depricaition but in case of transfer of asset the system is taking the effective date last ...

first run the following report:
payable account analysis report in ap module and give the following parametre:
liabilities a/c.....xyz
summarised report....yes
the report will be generated and u will find dr.and cr.total
this report is generated on code combination,after that pl run the following ...

Navigation:setup>payment>bank
but the problem is that u can not find out the trasaction separetly ,if define multiple branch in one bank.all the branch should have seprate a/c.I have given u the navigation .pl just check up at your end

Basically its not possible,becasue in a set we have to give the a/c no.but let me see definately i will revert back to u.
