Any way check the Currency conversion Setup. Incase if you set the credit limit for one currency and Sales order is for another currecy.

Hi, Credit check functionality will work at Booking,Picking,Shipping and Purchasing Release Level. In your case, you update line after you booked the sales order. so not required to book the sales order. That's the reason Credit Check functionality will not performed here. Next process is the Trasact move order, there you can split qty and partially move the goods

MO: Operating Unit

If the above Profile sets any Value it is Mutli-Org.
