Is there anylink between Assets and Invenotry.so, how the flow would be?

There is no standard procedure for this. you have to build the interface between the Inventory and Assets.

Balancing segment is a mandatory segment in Chart of accounts. Generally we will define Company is as balancing segment(Most probably). With the help of balancing segment only we can generate the financial statements,that's why Balancing segment is playing very key role in COA.
