You can Create a Mixed Invoice for the difference amount and make a payment OR Create a Credit Memo for the difference amount OR Reverse the error invoice and create a new one.

I don't thing there is much difference in the Period close of 11i and R12:

I fact they are the same, but for some of terminology like
Set of books : Ledger Etc
GL Close is the same as 11i
P2P Close is the same as 11i
OTC Close is the same as 11i

DO you have any other POs other than 108, can you try doing the full matching to the PO other than 108?

MKS Toolkit cannot be downloaded for free trial version please let me know how do i get it and can i proceed with the installation with out it?
If any one has the trial version please let me know.
