Hi,
I am also a beginner in Workflow but I can tell you that you can create a standalone workflow for your testing purposes.
You will have to install Oracle Workflow Client. You can download it free from Oracle's website or it is also available on Oracle EBS Family Pack Installation CDs.

Invisible Parameter in Apps Report
How can I hide the parameter in Oracle Apps report while defining the concurrent program and its paramters from Oracle Apps i.e., I want the value to be populated into the paramater but it should be invisible.
