Is it possible to update the journal category table. This is when we make a manual journal in GL, we need to select a category. Can we reduce the default list of values and just have few category as per business requirements.

Help will be much apprecaited.

How about writing a FSG report which will give all options to retrieve information from the tables as per your GL reporting requirements.

Hello Rizwan

You cannot retrieve unposted data through the FSG reports. FSG reports are only for posted transactions (Financial statements).

I'm sure you should have some standard reports which can retrieve all unposted transactions within oracle.
