Hi Anjan,

Yes. you should have one master org and 8 inv orgs. Sub inventory is nothing but to track receipts and issues. Is it a manufacturing org?

Hi Nass

You should define a bank called cash in hand and attach one account for this called cash in hand account. You should give document numbers - give some dummy numbers. While making the cash payment you should select this document.

Hi,

We faced same problem. We defined cash like a bank and attached cash in hand account. Then defined some dummy numbers for the cheque.

Check the accounting for all the invoices against payment has been made. Is withholding tax there for the invoice?

Hi,

Is there any way to change the UOM once the item has been created? Or is there any work around for this to use different UOM other than defined for the item? We are using 11i.

Hi Satya,

You can make batch payment to make all the invoices to a tax authority once in a month. It will select all the due invoices.

You can create manual TDS invoices as the type as withholding tax and credit memo in a normal way.

Hi Anjan,

According to my knowledge, there is no option of transferring from one book to other in fixed assets. You should retire it in one book and enter it in other book.
