To use 11i Tax "AS-IS" in R12

To use 11i Tax "AS-IS" in R12

Version R12/11i? = Uphrade from 11i to R12.1.1
Instance PROD/TEST/VIS? =
Module? = Financials

Hi All,

We are upgrading from 11.5.10 to R12.1.1. Could anybody help me to implement or use 11i Tax "AS-IS" in R12 ? I heard that this could be fixed through setting up a Tax Rule to use 11i Tax as is in R12, but I'm not sure of how to do this.

I read the upgrade manual (standard oracle manual) some time back. As per the manual, the taxes from 11i will be automatically created in E-Business Tax in R12 during the upgrade process. Only the advanced features may have to be configured, if required.

Payables withholding tax and India Localization Taxes are not part of this E-Business Tax.
