Dear Syed,

Oracle Assets is a module which is implemented at the instance level.

If you can be more specific of what you are expecting at the BG level and OU level, we can share more.

Dear All,

At what level FA will stands. BG or OU?
FA can understand MultiOrg structure?

I am going to Implement the FA module... at what level i have to select the FA ... lets eg Payables, Receivable, CE, PO and Order Managmnt are at OU level... and where i have to do the setup for FA in multi org.

Fixed Asset is @ instance level means all your categories and other Flexfield definitions are @ the instance level.

All other set ups are @ the BG level.

It depends on the industry as well.

Also you have to know how the current assets are maintained in the organization where you are working.

For example,

An organization with multiple branches as Operating unit need not have a multiple Corp Book, if the assets are maintained as centralized level.

When the Ledgers are different we can use multiple corporate books.
