Net book value should not be ZERO

Post by stalinvstalin@gmail.com »

Hi All,

Please tell me what setup required if the asset should not become 0

ex:
my asset cost 100
if it is fully deprecisted after some time Net book vaue will become 0
and Depreciation Reserve is 100 once it is fully depreciated.

but i want to leave 1 as netbook value in the last depreciating period.
so NBV should be always 1 if it is fully depreciated instaed of 0

Stalin.

HI,

This means that while adding the asset i should mention salvage as 1

so that it will stop depreciating as net book value reach to 1.

correct me if i am wrong.

now i have many assets with NBV left with 1$

which all these assets are not picked in "Fully reserved assets report"
It is picking only fully depreciated assets (Only assets witn NBV 0)

is there any workaround to clear all the assets to 0 NBV or piecking all the assets with NBV 1$ also in the report.

Regards,
Vijay.
