Attendance Sheet of selective Number of Sessions.

Post by najm »

I have attendance sheet reports which have the Fields S. No, Name and about to 45 Blank Boxes I think every one is familiar with the attendance sheet I display the S. No, Name through table and create up to 45 Manual boxes but some times I want the attendance sheet of 40 Session some time 15 sessions is it possible that I can display the field of a boxes in a parameter then I select the parameter when ever I want the attendance sheet of any number of sessions there fore i am saved to create 5 reports.

There are two ways to do this,

1- Use conditional formating and hide/display on the basis of parameter passed.

2- Use a temp table and insert values at runtime while using dynamic sql.

Hope it would be helpful.

By using Matrix Report formating, you can pick as many columns as you want from the database on the bases of parameters.
You should take date period as parameter not the session #s.
