Oracle Installed Base

Does anyone know how changes to the status of item instances can be captured to be sent to an external system? The only way I can think of is by database trigger but I don't even know the tables that store the item instances.

Don't know if I am making sense because I am still new to Oracle app. Please cam somebody help!!

Try the CSI_ITEM_INSTANCES table
