gl_interface problem

Hi,

i am new to oracle apps...and i was reading the gl user guide and tried to populate the gl_interface table using sql..i can see the data in gl_interface table. But when i run journal import programme i am getting a warning message saying there is no data in gl_interface table.
Could any one help me to identify what is the problem.

thanks for the reply...i figured out what was the problem....needed to go back to the basics...u need to execute the commit command...thanks folks....this forum is a great great help for bigginners...much appreciated....
