SET OF BOOKS "SHORT NAME"

As we know Set of Books's Short Name appears on Oracle Forms. We want to change this Short name. e.g. from ABC to XYZ. Is this Possible.?

once u save the set of book. we can't Change the SOB Name and Short Name also.

Oracle doesn't support changing the name of SOB. Well, General Ledger uses SET_OF BOOK_ID for the books. I guess you can change the SOB name:
GL responsibility> setup>books>Help>Diagnostics>Examine
Enter the oracle datbase password and from then you can change over there but it is not recommended to change the name because you have to change GL Set of Book profile option for all the subledger.

Again, it is not recommended because it would create many issues.
