report gives no output when parameter filled

Hello,

I have a report that run succesfully with or without parameters filled in 6i. In Oracle applications the report runs successfully if the parameters were not filled and gives no data if any of the parameters were filled.
Please notice that the same value sets are used in other reports successfully.
Any Idea?

hi,

is the value set used in ur custom report is predefined?

if it so, can u check with the "ID" under TABLE value set.

check whether any values is entered in the "ID" if it so, then ur parameter in apps, will return only the value that will be generated thru "ID" and not thru "VALUE"

my problem was that i was passing to the query a field other than the id column used in the value set.

This is Oppinion, once check it

We can Nvl Function Nvl(Parameter,0), By using this function ,get the data in oracle apps.
