Integrating Purchasing & Inventory to another appl

hello all,

we need to integrate an application to Oracle Purchasing and Inventory.
The application should be able to insert/update new inventory items in Oracle.
Receive Purchase orders from Oracle
Information like:
PO number
PO amount
PO Date
Requisition number
Vendor code
ITEM code
Quantity ordered
Unit cost

will be needed in the interface.

what are the proper interface tables in oracle?
How can we not import all the records; i.e we don not want to import all purchase orders information to the application.
