Error in Oracle Apps 11i patch installation

Hello to everyone, I m new in Oracle Apps.I installed 11i and it was working fine but after installing patches in oracle apps 11i, when I signin the browser as sysadmin, it only shows the Navigator button with the message that "no resposibilties are available for this user". where did I go wrong. its been a week I am searching the net for a solution but I couldn't find anything. plz help me with this problem asap.
