Hi
Upto 11.0.3 all AR TABLES AND VIEWS are available to start with AR
Starting from 11.5.3 onwards HZ tables are replaced with AR Tables
Even after HZ Schema, the views are still maintained with AR_CUSTOMERS_V
The main reason being Customer data is used by more than 142 Modules of 208 Modules in Oracle E-Business Suite
The second reason for HZ Schema is to make the Party as a Trading partner which is common for Customer as well as Supplier. This has already been done in R12. If you create a Supplier in R12, you will find a record in HZ Tables
Please refer Oracle eTRM for more details in Oracle Metalink
