LPN

Hi,

I have a problem as below ?

I am working on Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2

It is a normal implementation and standard inventory organization is being used (not WMS).

I am trying to achieve the below ?

1. I want to generate LPN numbers prior to pick release. This is required because the finished item is packed after WIP complete transaction in the shop floor itself and sent to finished goods inventory.

2. I want to map the item serial numbers with LPN Numbers prior to initiating pick release.

This means that the mapping of these item serial numbers and their associated LPN number must happen in any other module. (Say - Inv, BOM, WIP etc).

Typically around 12 items are packed into one container (LPN).

All standard Oracle modules like INV,BOM,WIP,QM,OM,SE,PO,AP,AR,GL,costing etc. are being used.

Please advice how the above can be achieved.
