Oracle XML Could not establish connection to Apps

Salam,
I have installed Oracle XML Publisher Enterprise 5.6.2 for Microsoft Windows. i want to use Oracle Apps database. But i have given
URL: jdbc:oracle:thin:@sgherp.sghpride.org:8005:prod
& database driver class :oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
but i am not able to conect. i am getting errp Count not establish connection.
