Merging Oracle Apps across platform

Hi

I got two Oracle 11.5.10.2 running on Oracle Enterprise Linux 4.0 and another one on Sun Solaris 10. How can I share the APPL_TOP?

From what i know it is not possible to share APPL_TOP across different platforms.

In that case do i need to migrate Oracle apps from Oracle Enterprise Linux to Sun Solaris 10 and then merge APPL_TOP?

If that is the only solution can anyone please tell me how to migrate oracle apps from Linux to Sun Solaris platform..
