Are cloud phones worth it for managing social media accounts?
We manage social media accounts for several clients, and keeping separate Android phones around the office is becoming a hassle. I've been looking at cloud phone services because it would be much easier for our team to access everything from their computers without constantly passing devices around. Multilogin caught my attention, but I'm not sure how well its cloud phones handle apps like TikTok and Instagram during longer sessions. I'm also concerned about the pricing, since paying by the minute could get expensive when several people are working throughout the day. Has anyone used Multilogin Cloud Phone for this kind of setup? How does it perform in everyday use, and are there any limitations worth knowing about before switching?
Re: Are cloud phones worth it for managing social media accounts?
Half the work on social media doesn't even need an Android phone running. Nobody needs to burn through paid minutes while they're rewriting captions, editing videos, or waiting for a client to approve a post. Keep all that work on the desktop and open the cloud phones for the tasks that actually require the apps. I'd also make sure everyone closes their sessions when they're finished, because a few forgotten phones running in the background could make the monthly bill pretty ridiculous.
Re: Are cloud phones worth it for managing social media accounts?
Nobody wants to have three account managers ready to publish their posts and then discover that the subscription only lets one of them work at a time. I'd check how many cloud devices the team can actually run simultaneously, because that's easy to overlook when you're comparing prices. To see how Multilogin Cloud Phone performs and how it compares with other services, read this review here . Pay attention to the TikTok test and the limits on simultaneous usage, not just the subscription price. The comparison also covers a different approach to billing, which is worth considering when your team spends hours working across multiple accounts. That could make quite a difference to what you end up paying every month.
