Revaluation Rate setup and process flow

Post by bharanir »

In the General Ledger Revaluation Rate, where to check, whether the revaluation rate will revaluate from the first rate entered or to the last revaluation.,

Please let me know, how to check the process flow, and also to check in the front end on the entries, how it is applied.

hi
follow the following steps
1)define daily rates
2)define period end rate
3)pass a journal entry ie foreign currency journal say on 01-Nov-07
4)run revaluation on 30-Nov-07
5)make sure you have defined unrealised gain/loss account

Hi,

thanks for your update,

The flow is ok, through the flow it was understood that the revaluation rate is taking the last revalued date.

But I just want to know, is there any setup available for checking revaluation done from the first rate entered or to the last revaluation date.

Please let me know

Bharani.

I mean for the Revaluation in General Ledger.

1) Defining in Setup - Currency - Daily rates and Period rates

2) GL - Currency - Revaluation, where we will assign the unrealised gain or loss accounts and assign the account ranges accordingly.

Apart from this, is there any other setup or profile option to be given for the Revaluation, through which we have to find out whether the revaluation done from the first rate entered or to the last revaluation date

Please let me know

Regards
Bharani.
