what is the responsibility of Core HR???[?]
Hi Paromita,
Each application user is assigned at least one responsibility. A responsibility determines if the user accesses Oracle Applications or Oracle Self-Service Web Applications, which applications functions a user can use, which reports and concurrent programs the user can run, and which data those reports and concurrent programs can access
Each responsibility has a menu assigned to it.So go for Global Hrms/Shrms

the main responsiblity of Core HR is
1) deal with work structures (like Business Groups,operating units, Jobs,Positions,grades etc)
2) it deals with people mamangement through people enter & maintain screen( like creating people, applicants,assignments etc)
3)looks after the career management and recruiting activities
4)for defining and running pay roll
The above thigs will give a basic sketch of what the responsibility does
for more details you can go for userguide..
