Hello,

I know this is an old topic, but this needs to be corrected.

The hire/start date of an employee or contingent worker can be changed as long as no updates have been made to the person or assignment records. Please note, this is updates, not corrections. Also, the person can't have been processed through a payroll run.

Navigate to the hire/start date field on the Person form and change the date -- either forward or backward. Don't forget, that if you change the hire/start date forward of your current date-track date, the person will disappear from the screen after you commit the change. Just change you date-track date and re-query to find the person again.

Additionally, HRMS provides a Person purge function which can also be used as long as no updates have been performed. This can be used to completely remove all trace of the person so they can be re-entered.

Peter.

you can simply change the correct date in the latest start date on employee form and save it. [:)]
