Post by Shashi_k »

Hi,

Can any one tell me the business scenario where and when to use the PLANNING & CONTRACT purchase orders.

What is the difference in quotation types BID, STANDARD & CATALOG?

Heres a scenario: Company(X) purchases fuel from a certain supplier(Y), they can enter into an agreement to have a contract, so that the supplier supplies the fuel when needed and according to the contract, if one raises a PO eg:"CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY OF FUEL FOR THE PERIOD 2006 TO 2008" without specifying any Item in the Lines. Thats One scenario.
