Enter Salary to Employee?

Enter Salary to Employees?

HRMS , 11.5.10

How to assign Salary to the employees?
Selected an Employee, click Assignment tab.
In the Salary Basis : ?XX Monthly Salary? selected, and saved.
And click Salary Button;
Then I did enter the effective date, and Salary, but when I try to save it is not accepting.

How to solve the problem?

Jo.

Hello,

You may possible to face the problem in element link.

If you are getting the error msg like Overlaping element entry. the problem can be solved in two ways.

Method 1)Delete the element and make new setup following way
Step 1 Create new Element for salary.
Step 2 Define salary basis.
Step 3 create link (select only Link to payroll: Donot select standard check box)
save and exit
step 4 assign salary basis to employee.
step 5 enter salary adminstration.

Method 2 is not recomnded.
