can any body explain me about the customization and workarounds, give me one example?

Customozation means changing the standard available forms & reports in such a way that it suits the clients requirement.

It can also be creating a new form or report.

When the standard functionality provided by Oracle Applications does not suit the Business requirements of the Client, then client may change the coding / Designing of the Applications to accomodate thier business requirements, this can be called as Customization.

Workarounds are performing the business requirement of clients, in a different way, that is not in a straight forward way, it is like acheiving the business requirement of client by performing more operations, than a direct one, but by using the standard functionalities provided by oracle itself..

For Customizing functionality Oracle will not provide support. You have support on your self
