Dear Members,

We are going to implement modules like GL,AP,AR,PO,OM,Inv and HR. Could anyone explain how does one start off with implementation, do we have a new instance, what are the modules persent for us to start with setups, is there any data given by oracle to test the isntance....could some one please through some light for folks who have never done an implementation.....I would like to know the steps one needs to do to begin with setups....

Thanks,

Hi benny

To start the implementation you must finish the analysis phase because some modules setup depends on this analysis & you can not change it after starting the implementation.

First modules you must start it are the financial modules. You can use the Documents (Tutorials) to help you from preparing the server to finish the implementation.

After you finish the financial modules implementation you must wait until the data become true & right and all requirements was cover then you start to implementation other modules like supply chain (PO-INV-OM....).

divide your implementation plan to phase & start each phase alone & don't start the other phase before you sure about the result from previous phase .

Thanks
Hisham
