Hi,
Currently the 11i instance is installed with Red Hat Linux OS. We would like to clone this instance on to a server with Oracle Linux. Please let me know if any one of you had similar requirement? If so, what are the risks? Can anyone share the documents ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Vedanta

Yes admin was right, Oracle suggested that your test and production environment are the same.
